Sometimes this is easy to spot. We all know that friend who only comes around when they need something or only wants to do the things that she wants to do. But it can be trickier to spot when it comes to situations like the workplace. Maybe your personal assistant goes the extra mile for you but you've been so busy you haven't taken the time to tell her how much you appreciate her. Or maybe your partner has picked up the slack to bail you out and you've grown accustomed to it so you've allowed it to keep happening. Whatever the case, it's a good practice to reflect on the dynamics of your relationships. This way, we can make sure that we stay in balance karmically. On the other hand, if someone in your life isn't pulling their weight, is taking advantage of you or not living up to their fullest potential when is a good time to draw a healthy boundary? If you're constantly the giver or surrounded by a lot of takens, your energy will deplete and the relationships will fall out of harmony. To stay balanced in your relationships, make gratitude a regular practice. Mentally check in and remind yourself how grateful you are for this person and how much you appreciate everything they do for you. It's easy to forget or overlook when we are all distracted in the hustle bustle which is life. Action Steps:
